Streamlining of import work flow at ACC - Reg. - Customs - 11/2009

Date: 03.03.2009 CORRIGENDUM TO TRADE FACILITY NO. 11/2009-CUS. Sub: Streamlining of import work flow at ACC - Reg. Attention of Importers/Custom House Agents/Custodians and other concerned is hereby drawn to the Trade Facility No.11/2009 dt.20.02.2009 issued regarding the clearance of import cargo at Air Cargo Complex, Bangalore. 2. In the above said Trade Facility, under Sl. No.9 and 10, it is mentioned that only F and G card holders are allowed to attend to the work relating to examination and clearance of import cargo. The office bearers of the CHA Association have represented that as there is shortage of G card holders in Bangalore and will be difficult for them to depute only G card holders for the above activity and hence they requested for modification of the above trade facility to allow H card holders also to attend the above work. Considering the representation made by the CHA Association, conditions No.9 and 10 of the Trade Facility No.11/2009 dt.20.03.2009 are modified as follows. 9. Examination by the CHAs in the Shed. F / G card holders who are also authorized signatories and H card holders who are holding the H card for at least 2 years. Customs Officers conducting the examination must record the name and card no. of the CHA in the system (Dept. Comments). 10. Out of Charge (OOC) F / G card holders who are also authorized signatories and H card holders are holding the H card for at least 2 years. Customs Officers giving OOC must record the name and card no. of the CHA in the system (Dept. Comments). 3. Other conditions of the Trade Facility remain unchanged. Sd/- (A.K. KAUSHAL) COMMISSIONER
