Date : 31.10.2014 PUBLIC NOTICE No. 01/2014 Sub: Filing of Courier Bill of Entry on prior entry basis before arrival of flight - Regarding The Express Industry Council of India (EICI) has requested to permit the prior entry clearance of courier cargo to expedite the process of clearance at Courier Terminal. 2. In exercise of powers vested under Regulation 5(2)(a) of Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Regulations, 1998, the Authorised Couriers are permitted to file the appropriate Courier Bill of Entry prior to landing of Courier Cargo for assessment by the proper officer. 3.
