In continuation of this Department s OM of even number dated 13.12.2011 , the undersigned is directed to inform that on the basis of decision taken in inter Ministerial Meeting held on 12.5.2014, modification on Run Flat Tyres have been incorporated in Sl. No. (iii) as given below: - For Read (iii) Run Flat Tyres Tyres marked RF or similar marking and carrying the Symbol (iii) Run Flat/RF and or carrying the Symbol 2. It is further clarified that Run Flat/RF and or carrying the Symbol tyres are not covered under Pneumatic Tyres and Tubes for Automotive Vehicles (Quality Control) Order 2009 (S. N.
