Tariff rates in respect of the LCL cargo under Customs - Customs - 111/2018

No. S/5-Gen.-115/2014 CFS M Cell Date: 20.07.2018 PUBLIC NOTICE No. 111/2018 It has come to the adverse notice of this office that despite the fact CFSs, who handle LCL (less than container load) Cargo, tariff rates in respect of the LCL cargo are not indicated on the websites of these CFSs and further facility to obtain e-invoicing payment or advance invoicing is also not available on websites of some of the CFSs. In absence of the above, the trade is experiencing difficulty to ascertain beforehand the charges payable. Non-disclosure of tariff rates in respect of the LCL cargo is in violation of Regulation 6(3) of the HCCAR, 2009. In this connection, it is requested to make the tariff rates in respect of LCL cargo and facility to e-invoicing and e-payment available on the websites of all the CFSs at the earliest. Non-compliance will be viewed seriously and shall invite action under the HCCAR, 2009. This issues with the approval of the Commissioner of Customs, Nhava Sheva General, JNCH.
