Cus Dated: 04.09.2018 Public Notice 30/2018 Subject: Flooding of CFS Falcon-Reg. ********* Kind attention is invited to the meeting chaired by the Commissioner of Customs to discuss the damage and difficulties faced by Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers, Steamer Agents, the trading public and other stake holders due to recent flooding at Container Freight Station, Falcon Infrastructure Ltd (CFS Falcon). 2. In pursuance of the discussions all Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers, Steamer Agents, the trading public and other stake holders are here by informed that the details in the prescribed Performa may be submitted to the Assistant Commissioner (CFS Falcon) to ascertain and examine the factual and legal requirements under the Customs Act and other allied acts (Remission of Duty, Clearance of goods etc.) IGM No/ Container No. Bill of Entry/Shipping Bill Importer/Exporter Customs Broker Name Item Quantity Value remarks 3. CFS (falcon) to submit the details of imported/ exported Cargo, any other cargo lying in the premise as on date. 4. Importers to submit details showing the status of Bill of Entry i.e Out of Charge given, Duty paid OOC not given, Assessment over duty not paid, Bill of Entry not filed. 5. Exporters to submit details showing status of Shipping Bill i.e. LEO granted, Shipping Bill registered LEO not given, Shipping Bill not registered. 6. The stake holders are requested to conform whether the cargo/ consignment are insured and whether insurance survey has been done or proposed to be done and expected time required for completion of such survey or any other formalities. 7. All the details shall be submitted to Shri Joseph Sebastian, Assistant Commissioner (CFS Falcon) on or before 06.09.2018 forenoon. 8. The -department shall examine the matter in consultation with stake holders and appropriate orders for each consignment shall be issued separately. 9. Any importer who intends to clear the cargo which duty paid and complied with the statutory requirements may do so. In respect of exporters who intend to remove the cargo in which LEO/ registration have not been done may clear the cargo by filing request for removal to town to the AC (CFS). CFS (Falcon) shall ensure that such cargo are cleared without any further delay. 10. Difficulties faced any in this regard may brought to the notice of the undersigned. 11.
