Attention of all Exporters, Custom Brokers and Members of trade is invited to the processing of Drawback Claims and payments. 2. In order to avail Drawback refund, it is mandatory that the exporters have validated their bank account by Public Finance Management System (PFMS) . If bank accounts of the exporters are closed/not validated by PFMS, then the Drawback refund, even if sanctioned, may not get credited to the accounts of the exporters. 3. It is reported from ICES that bank accounts/IFSC of some exporters (as per the list enclosed) have been invalidated in PFMS, which resulted in the non-payment of Drawback amounts. 4. In view of the above, exporters are advised to update their bank accounts/IFSC immediately with respective bank and EDI. It is also requested all the exporters/Customs Brokers to verify the updated list of exporters whose bank accounts are not validated from time to time. (Dr. D. K. Srinivas) (Commissioner of Customs)
