No. II/20/154/2017 BRC Date: 14-03-2018 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 07/2018 Sub: Non-receipt of Export remittance data from EDPMS developed by RBI - Regarding. Attention of the exporters and Authorized Dealer (AD) Banks are invited to this Office Public Notice No. 38/2015 dated 21.12.2015. 02. It is for the information that the data in the RBI BRC (RBI-MIS Reports) shows that foreign exchange realization in respect of a large number shipping bills pertaining to INTUT-I and INTUT-6 are pending. This is because of not uploading the realization data by the AD Banks and regular follow up by the exporters. The exporters are once again reminded to check BRC integration status with Customs using the ICEGATE enquiry module and to follow up with the authorized dealer bank to get the information transmitted to portal of RBI (EDPMS). 03. It is further brought to the notice of the exporters that the pendency has to be followed with AD Banks and complete the updation within in the period 30 days time. The exporters are informed that in case of any pendency, after the due date, an alert will be made in the ICEGATE, which will be followed by issue of SCN and adjudication proceedings. 04. The BRC Cell of Tuticorin Customs Commissionerate would monitor the realization of export proceeds for the shipping bills, with LEO dates on or after 01.04.2014, under new RBI-BRC module and would stop accepting/ acknowledging 6 monthly negative statement from authorized dealers/ chartered accountants showing the proof of realization of export proceeds (BRC) However, shipping bills whose LEO was gran ted prior to 01.04.2014 would continue to be dealt in terms of provisions of PN No. 34/2015 dt. 02.2.2015 read with Board's Circular No. 5/2009-Cus dated 02.02.2009. 05.
