No. S/3-MISC-PRO-76/2017-18/ACC(I) Date:- 25.06.2018 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 78/2018 SUB: Dispensing with of submission of Hard Copy of the Bills of Entry to the Custodian for delivery Of the Import Cargo -regarding. *** Attention of all Importers, Custom Brokers, Custodians, Members of Trade, and Other Stake Holders is invited to the Notification No. 36/2018 Custom (NT) dated 11.05.2018 regarding implementation of paper free clearance process. 2. As per present procedure being followed Custodian requires Hard Copy of Out of Charge Order (Custodian Copy) for issue of the Gate Pass. 3. With a view, to further facilitate clearance of import consignments. henceforth, the custodian will issue the Gate Pass/Delivery Order on electronic transmission of Out of Charge(OOC) through ICEGATE without Insisting for the hard copy of Out of Charge Order. However, because of the system failure/ or any other technical problem, if electronic transmission of to the Custodian is not possible, the custodian shall issue the delivery order on written order from Assistant/Deputy Commissioner (Import Shed). 4. Action to be taken in terms of this Public Notice should be considered as Standing Order the purpose of officers and staff. 5.
