Admn-02/2010 - ACC Date : 28.09.2018 PUBLIC NOTICE -82/2018 Sub: Extension of permission towards Transshipment of import bonded cargo M/S Oscar Freight Pvt. Ltd. having their registered office at Unit No. 101, Jayant Apartments. A-wing, Opp. Sahar Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai were earlier granted permission via Public Notice No. 18/2015 dated 05.10.2015, its addendums dated 07.10.2016 and 15.03.2018 to operate bonded trucking of import transhipment cargo what was valid upto 05.10.2018. Permission was accorded to tranship imported cargo for 39 airlines handled by M/S. Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (MIAL) and 17 airlines handled by M/S. AIATSL (wholly owned subsidiary company of M/S. Air India Ltd.) 2. WHEREAS M/S. Oscar Freight Pvt. Ltd. vide their letter dtd. 06.08.2018 have requested for renewal of Bonded Trucking permission for further period of three years and requested permission for transhipment of cargo for 43 airlines handled by M/S. Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (MIAL) and 22 airlines handled by M/S. AIATSL (wholly owned subsidiary company of M/S. Air India Ltd.) as mentioned in Annexure A . 3. Now, M/S. Oscar Freight Pvt. Ltd, have executed a Bond of ₹ 300 crores (Rupees Three Hundred Crores only) valid for the period 06.10.2018 to 05.10.2021 and requested exemption from submission of Bank guarantee, in terms of Boards Circular No. 24/2006 dtd. 25.08.2006, as they have fulfilled the condition of having annual transhipment volume above 2500 MT. 4. Accordingly, in exercise of the powers vested in me under Section 45(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, I/ Nikhil Chandra, Commissioner of Customs (General), Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai, hereby approve and extend the permission towards appointment of M/S. Oscar Freight Pvt. Ltd. for operating Bond trucking services for Air Import Cargo between Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai and all other Customs notified ACC's, ICD's, CFS's and AFS's within India in cases where such transhipment is desired by the consignee, authorized by the airlines and approved by the Customs department. This approval will be applicable for transhipment of cargo of 43 airlines handled by the Custodian M/S Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (MIAL) and 22 airlines handled by M/S. AIATSL (wholly owned subsidiary company of M/S. Air India Ltd.) as detailed in Annexure A . 5. Transshipment of import bonded cargo approved as per Public Notice will be governed by :- (a) The provisions of Chapter VIII of the Customs Act, 1962. (b) Goods Imported (Conditions of Transshipment) Regulations, 1995. (c) Handling of cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009 (as amended). (d) Boards Circular No.69/99-Cus dtd.06.10.1999 as amended by Boards Circular No.61/2000-Cus dtd.13.07.2000, 79/2001-cus dtd. 07.12.2001 and 06/2007- cus dtd.22.01.2007 (e) Public Notice No. 24/2000 dtd.08.11.2000 read with Public Notice No.12/2004 dtd.27.03.2004, Public Notice No.18/2005 dtd.28.07.2005 Public Notice No.09/2007 dtd.02.03.2007. (f) Any other Rules, Regulations, Notifications, Instructions, Circulars Public Notices issued from time to time. 6.
