No. VGN (30) 06/T.N/18-19 Dated: 30.05.2018 Trade Facilitation Notice No. 02/2018-19 Sub: Steps to be initiated for liquidation of pending refund applications of input tax credit as discussed in Video Conference dated 29.05.2018 Attention of Trade is invited towards decision taken in the Video Conference dated 29.05.2018 held for discussing steps to be initiated for liquidation of pending refund applications of input tax credit. 2, During Video Conference following important decisions are taken for immediate necessary action. i) A special refund fortnight will be observed from 31.05.2018 to 14.06.2018. ii) During this fortnight all the Input Tax Credit refund claims received upto 30.04.2018 shall be disposed off. iii) If any taxpayer, till today, is not distributed between CCST SGST authority and if he files the refund claim in CGST Office, then it will not be rejected but duly processed and disposed off with suitable intimation to taxpayer and SGST authorities. iv) Refund claim disbursing authority will not insist on for original copy of invoices for disposal of such refund claim. v) Any refund application having less than amount of ₹ 1000 separately in respect of CCST, SGST ICS T, except in case of balance in cash ledger will be liable for straight away rejection. Vi) The prime focus of this fortnight is to achieve zero pendency on 14 June. 3. All the Trade Associations are. requested to bring the contents of this Trade Facilitation Notice to the notice of their members for Information and further necessary action.
