Indev Logistics Pvt. Ltd., B-7, SIPCOT Industrial park, Irrungattukottai, Sriperumbdur - 602 105 as Customs Area under section 8 whereby they were appointed as Custodian under Section 45 of the Customs Act, 1962, and the subsequent Public Notices 100/2010 Dated 09.12.2010 and 161/2013 dated 25.07.2013 declaring additional areas of 4460.96 SQM and 2434 SQM of the said Custodian as Customs Area. Now, on the request of M/S. Kerry Indev Logistics, ICD, dated 23.10.2017, I Dr. Anil. K. Nigam, Commissioner of Customs, (Chennai VIII), Custom House, Chennai, in exercise of powers conferred under Section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962, declare the additional area of 8619 Sq. mtrs (2414 Sq. Mtrs of closed constructed area adjacent to the existing closed Bonded Warehouse (3 premises of ICD- North West] + 6205 Sq. mtrs open area adjoining to the premises [CD on West side) as 'Customs Area' for the purpose of handling import and Export cargo. The additional areas are bounded by: North : Balance land in Plot All B7 of Kerry Indev Logistics Pvt. Ltd. South : 40 Meter wide road - Plot Nos. H of Hyundai Motor India Ltd. East : 25 Meter wide road and drain-Plot B1 B2 - ILJIN Automotive Pvt. Ltd. West : Balance land in Piot A11 A12 of Kerry Indev Logistics Pvt. Ltd. After the notification of 8619 Sq.mtrs of additional area the total area notified as Customs Area in ICD, Irungattukottai is 34008.09 Sq.Mtr (8.40 Acres approx.).
