No. S/20-59/PN/AG/CHK/2017-18 Dated: 25/01/2018 ADDENDUM TO PUBLIC NOTICE No. 63/2017 Sub: Procedure for obtaining Self Sealing Permission for Electronic Sealing of containerized cargo at factory or warehouse premises Attention of the Exporters, Custom Brokers and all concerned coming under the jurisdiction of Kandla, Customs House is invited to the Public Notice No. 63/2017 dated 21.12.2017 issued regarding procedure for obtaining Self Sealing Permission for Electronic Sealing of containerized cargo at factory or warehouse premises. 2. In pursuance of Ministry of Finance (Dept. of Revenue) Notification 82/2017 Cus (N.T.) dated 24th August 2017 read with Notification No. 86/2017 Cus (N.T.) dated 14th September 2017, Notification No. 99/2017 - cus (N.T.) dated 27th October 2017, Notification No. 119/2017 cus (N.T.) dated 28th December 2017 and Notification No. 03/2018 - Cus (N.T.) dated 10th January 2018, the Customs related work is shifted to Customs Commissionerates from the GST Commissionerates w.e.f. 15.01.2018. Therefore, the words GST authority and GST Superintendent ( Inspector in para 6 (iii) and 6 (IV) of the Public Notice No. 63/2017 dated 21.12.2017 shall be read as Customs authority and Customs Superintendent Inspector henceforth. 3. Further words 31 December 2017 in para 11 of the Public Notice No. 63/2017 dated 21.12.2017 shall be read as until further orders (Sanjay Kumar Agarwal), Commissioner, Custom House, Kandla.
