Please find enclosed a copy of Federation of Indian Authomobile Association's letter No. AIT/9/87, dated 31st December, 1988 for your information and necessary action. 2. The Federation of Indian Automobile Association vide their letter dated 11th April, 1988 has clarified the words a "Volets inside the Carnet" as "pages inside the Carnet." Dear Madam, Subject : Validity of AIT Carnets de Passages In view of the numerous cases of forged AIT Carnets that have come to light in the past, the AIT has asked us to remind you that every AIT Carnet must include:- (a) the AIT logo in watermark on all volets inside the carnets (diameter of the watermark 7.3 cm.). (b) a round stamp in relief on the carnet cover containing "ALLIANCE INTERNATIONAL" (inside the circle), followed by "DE TOURISME A.I.T. (in the center). Further the AIT Carnets that are now in use have numbers followed by the letters :- Ps/Pd/Px/Pe Qs/Qd/Qx Rs/Rd/Rx Ss/Sd/Sx Ts/Td/Tx From 1st January 1988 the following other series will be in use :- Us/Ud/Ux No other letter from A to N are in use for the present.
