Attention of Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers, Steamer Agents, Liners/ Main Operators and the members of Trade is invited to the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) Circular No: 08/2019-C s dated 26.02.2019 on above mentioned subject. 2. Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has received references in relation to different issues coastal movement such us movement of coastal goods through foreign territory, use of containers for carrying coastal goods, use of local or domesticated containers for of EXIM cargo. The issues have been examined by the Board and after careful consideration a decision has been on the subject matter and the has been detailed in the CBIC Circular No: 08/2019-Customs dated 26.02.2019 (issued vide file F.NO. 450/146/2018-Cus. IV). The copy of the above cited CBIC Circular is enclosed herewith for information. 3. Difficulties, if my, faced in implementation of Public Notice may be brought to the notice of this office.
