It has been decided to organize a GST REFUND CLEARANCE FORTNIGHT starting from 31 st May, 2018 to 14 th June, 2018 to clear all refund applications filed up to 30th April, 2018 either with Centre or State Tax Authorities. The Refund Fortnight will be observed by both Centre and State Authorities. 2. In this regard, the trade is requested to immediately provide the compliance of deficiency memo raised, if any, on urgent basis to facilitate the disposal of the Refund Applications. It is also requested that the manual/ hard-copy of claims filed online alongwith supporting documents may be submitted to the jurisdictional officers for processing of Refund Claims within the Fortnight. 3. Shi, C.L. Dogra, Additional Commissioner, at Room no. 102, O/o the Commissioner, GST Commissionerate jammu, OB-32, Rail Head Complex, Jammu, J K has been appointed as Nodal Officer from Central Tax side for GST Commissionerate Jammu and may be contacted in case of any difficulty. 4. All the taxpayers who are not aware of the system of effecting the refund sanctions, may follow the procedure explained in the above said Circular No. 17/17/2017-GST dated 15.11.2017 and Circular No. 24/24/2017-GST dated 21.12.2017 and contact the jurisdictional authorities so that the sanctioning of the refunds is expedited. 5. All members of public/ Trade Associations/ Chambers of commerce Industries are requested to bring contents of this Trade Notice to attention of their members, the trade and everyone concerns.
