Kind attention of all the members of the trade is invited to the alternate forum available for settlement of disputes in an expeditious manner to the trade and industry, if they so desire. 02. All the assessees who have been served Shown Cause Notice which are pending at various stages of Adjudication have the option of approaching Settlement Commission for settlement of their case(s) in terms of provisions contained under Chapter V of Central Excise Act, 1944/ Chapter XIV A of the Customs Act, 1962 / Chapter V of Central Excise Act, 1944 which is made applicable by Section 83 of Finance Act, 1994 of the Service Tax matters, subject to fulfillment of the conditions contained in the respective Acts. 2. The contents f the Trade Notice may be brought to the knowledge of all constituent members of Trade Associations/ Chamber of Commerce and Industry/Members of RAC and all others concerned person under the jurisdiction of CGST Commissionerate Indore.
