Dated 03.02.2014 SERVICE TAX TRADE NOTICE NO. 03/2014 Subject:- Service Tax-issuance of Notification No.02/2014 ST dated 30.01.2014, Amendment to Notification No. 25/2012-ST dated 20.06.2012 - Regarding. The Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Central Board of Excise Customs, New Delhi vide Notification No. 02/2014- Service Tax dated 30.01.2014 (issued from File F.N0. 354/236/2013-TRU) has made certain amendment to Notification No. 25/2012 ST dated 20.06.2012. Accordingly, in the Notification No. 25/2012 ST, in the paragraph 2, for clause (s), the following shall be substituted, namely:- '(s) governmental authority means an authority or a board or any other body; (i) set up by an Act of Parliament or a State legislature; or (ii) established by Government, with 90% or more participation by way of equity or control, to carry out any function entrusted to a municipality under article 243W of the Constitution.
