Kind attention of the Importers; Exporters, Customs Brokers, Custodians, Trade and other stakeholders, is invited to the Notification No.77/2014- Customs (N.T), 78/2014 -customs (N.T.) both dated 16.09.2014 and Notification No. 82/2017' Customs (N.T), dated 24.08.2017 and Notification No. 85/2017-CustomS (N.T.) dated 07-09.2017 as amended vide 86/2017-customs (N.T.) dated 14.09.2017, 92/2017-customs (N.T.) dated 28.09.2017, 99/2017-CustomS (N.T.), dated 27.10.2017, 119/2017-customs (N.T.) dated 28.12.2017 issued and as amended vide 03/2018-Customs (N.T.) dated 10.01.2018 by the Central Board of Excise and Customs, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, on the above subject. 2. Consequent to the issue of the said notifications, the Customs formations of this Commissionerate stands re-organized, leading to revision of the jurisdictional limits of this Commissionerate with effect from 15th January; 2018, as mentioned in the table below:- Sl. NO. COMMISSIONERATE AREA OF JURISDICTION 1. Office -of the Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), No. 1, Williams Road, Cantonment, Tiruchirappalli-620001. The Commissionerate will include: a) the whole of the state of Tamil Nadu excluding the areas falling under the Jurisdiction of i)Principal Commissioner of Customs (I), Airport, Chennai; ii)Commissioner of Customs (II), Chennai; iii) Principal Commissioner of Customs (III), Chennai; iv) Commissioner of Customs (IV) Chennai; v) Commissioner of Customs (VI) Chennai; vi) Principal Commissioner of Customs (V II), Air Cargo Complex, Chennai; vii) Commissioner of Customs (VIII), (General), Chennai; b) The union Territory of Puducherry excluding Mahe Commune and' Yanam Territory. (c) Continental Shelf and Exclusive Economic Zone Of India facing the baseline in 'the State of Tamil Nadu to which the Customs 'Act, 1962 has been extended vide Ministry of External Affairs' notification number S.O. 189 (E), dated the 7th February, 2002 3. In the light of the above, the following Customs formations presently functioning under the administrative control . of Coimbatore, Madurai and Salem Central Excise GST Commissionerate will henceforth function under the administrative control ; of Tiruchirapalli Customs (Preventive) Commissionerate : Airports a) Coimbatore International Airport (including Air Cargo) b) Madurai International Airport (including Air Cargo) ICD a) Irugur b) Thudiayalur c) Veerapandi; Tiruppur d) Chettipalayam,- Tiruppur e) Hosur. 4. In addition to the above, all the Customs work like issue of Warehousing Certificate, Procurement Certificate, Installation Certificate under schemes, Brand Rate Fixation, acceptance of Bond/LUT/B-17 Bond, Duty free Import at concessional rate etc., which were hitherto handled by the officers of Chennai (outer)/ Madurai/Coimbatore/ Trichy/ Salem Puducherry Central Excise and GST Commissionerates Tirunelveli Central Excise; GST Sub- Commissionerate ' will henceforth be handled by the officers of Customs (Preventive) Commissionerate, Trichy, as per the table below:- Sl.
