Amendment in Public Notice No.42/2017-18 dated 21.02.2018- m - Customs - PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 28/2018-19

Attention of the Exporter, General Trade and all other stake holders is invited to the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) Notification No.82/2017-Cus (N.T) dated 24.08.2017 read with Notification No.86/2017-Cus (N.T-*8) dated 14.09.2017, Notification No.99/2017-Cus (N.T) dated 27.10.2017, Notification No.119/2017-Cus (N.T) dated 27.12.2017 and Notification No.03/2018-Cus (N.T) dated 10.01.2018; in pursuance to which Export Promotion Circle (EPC) formed. Public Notice No.42/2017-18 dated 21.02.2018 has been issued to perform all such customs functions hitherto being performed by the Central Excise/Goods and Service Tax (GST) formation which includes fixation of Brand Rate of Drawback, Duty Drawback for supplies made by DTA unit to SEZ, Import of Goods at concessional Rate of Duty, Issuance of End use Certificate etc. In this regard, it is clarified that the Exporter shall file Brand Rate Fixation application in the Duty Drawback Section of this Commissionerate. The verification of data given in the application, if so required, shall be got done through the Customs formations (Export Promotion Circle) having jurisdiction over the factory, where the export goods have been manufactured.
