Kind attention of all the Importers, Custom House Brokers, trade and other stakeholders is invited to CBEC Circular No. 40/2017-Customs dated 13.10.2017, and Public Notice No. 02/2018 dated 21.02.2018 issued by this office on the above subject. The said Public Notice lays out procedure for mandatory implementation of paperless processing under Single Window interface for Facilitation of Trade (SWIFT) in respect of Appraising Group 1 4. 2. Kind attention is also invited to the Para 4 of the Public Notice No. 02/2018 dated 21.02.2018, wherein it has been mentioned that online uploading of documents in respect of Appraising Groups 2, 3, 5, 6 shall be optional. Now this optional exercise is made mandatory in respect of all the Appraising Groups w.e.f. 15.03.2018 onwards. 3. Difficulties, if any, in implementation of this Public Notice may be brought to the notice of the Additional Commissioner (Technical), LCD, TKD (Import) Commissionerate.
