S.Misc.12/2010 - sys Unit (Pt 1) Date: 05.09.2011 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 83/2011 Sub: Online Transmission of Duty Free Import Authorization issued between Customs and DGFT Attention of the CHA/ Importers/ Exporters and the trade is invited to the Public Notice No. 82/2011 dated 02.09,2011, wherein it is mentioned that procedure for online transmission of Shipping Bills to DGFT and online receipt of Duty Free Import Authorization (DFIA) from DGFT to Customs through an Electronic Message Exchange System at Chennai Seaport is going to be operational w.e.f. 5th September 2011. 2. It is informed that due to some technical reasons and administrative exigencies, implementation of the online transmission of DFIA has been postponed. Fresh date would be communicated shortly. (S.
