Authorization of SBI, Panbazar, Guwahati for payment of duty drawback - Customs - PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 01/2014

No. VIII(48)12/CUS/TECH/2011/6444-61(A) Dated: 09.07.2014 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 01/2014 Subject: Authorization of SBI, Panbazar, Guwahati for payment of duty drawback-reg. This is for information of all concerned that the Principal Chief Controller of Accounts, Central Board of Excise Customs, New Delhi has authorized State Bank of India, Panbazar, Guwahati Branch (BSR Code 0000078) (outstation in respect of FPB) for collection of Customs duty through physical mode under EDI System at ICD, Amingaon (INAMG6) and payment of duty drawback cheques issued by the Deputy / Assistant Commissioner of Customs (Preventive) Division, Guwahati. 2. It has been decided that the collecting branch will render scrolls and challans through the existing F P B, i.e., SBI, Shillong Branch (BSR Code 0000181), Shillong to PAO, Central Excise Customs, Shillong on daily basis besides following the procedure laid down in the Revised Memorandum of Instructions for Collection and Accounting of Central Excise, Customs and other Dues . Further, State Bank of India has been requested for installation of the hardware / software required for receipts through EDI at the concerned Branch. The exact date from which the above branch will start accepting Customs duties shall be notified by State Bank of India. (Gaigongdin Panmei) Commissioner
