No. S/3-MISC-PRO-13/2018-19/ACC(I) Date: 30.04.2020 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 78/2020 Subject: Cancellation of Import licence holder of COVID-19 Rapid Diagnostic kit from China -reg. Attention of the Importers, Trade , Customs Brokers and all the stake holder is invited to clearance of COVID-19 Rapid Diagnostic kit under heading Chapter heading 3822 from Guangzhou Wondfo Biotech, China and Zhuhai Livzon Diagnostics , China. As per clarification F.No.29/Misc/31/2020-D dated 28.04.2020 issued by Drug Controller General (India) ( Copy Enclosed), the import licence holder of COVID-19 Rapid Diagnostic kit from these two sites have been asked to stop import of these kits in public interest and show cause notice has been issued for cancellation of import licence to various concerns under provisions of Drugs Cosmetics Act,1940 and Rules . 2) All the Importers, Trade, Customs Brokers and all the stake holder to note the above developments . They are requested to take note and publicize the contents of this Public Notice among their members/constituents. 3) For the departmental officers, this may be treated as Standing Order. 4) Difficulty, if any, faced in implementation of this Public Notice may be brought to the notice of the Additional/Joint Commissioner of Customs, Import, ACC, Mumbai (Email.
