VIII/Cus/Tech/TN/48-123/19-20 DATED. 01.05.2020 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 28/2020 Sub :- Extension of Validity all AEO certificates that are expiring/have expired during the period of 1st March'2020 and 31st May'2020 reg: Attention of all Importers, Exporters, Customs House Agents (CHA), Custodian/ Terminal Operators , Logistic Service Providers and the Members Of the Trade is invited to the above captioned subject. 2. References have been received from field formations that trade is facing difficulty in filing AEO renewal application due to the lockdown prevalent all across the country due to Covid- 19 pandemic. 3. Accordingly, as a trade facilitation initiative, the Directorate of International Customs (DIC), New Delhi has extended the validity of all AEO certificates that are expiring/have expired during the period of 1st March'2020 and 31st May'2020, till 31st May'2020. 4. The list of such 30 AEO entities, where validity has been extended in system by the DIC, is attached for ready reference as Annexure-A. Accordingly, all the benefits as per their AEO status will be extended to the above AEO status holders appearing in the list till 31st May'2020. These AEO Status holders may file renewal application within this extended validity period, if they so desire. 5. Difficulties faced, if any, should be brought to the notice of this office. 6. The contents of this Public Notice may be brought to the knowledge of the member constituents of the trade. The public notice may be downloaded from the website www.punecustoms.nic.in.
