Central Excise - D-3 Declaration - Arrangements to receive and cause verification thereof on holiday(s) - Regarding Circular No. 10/90-CX.6 Dated 20-4-1990 [From F.No. 204/4/90-CX.6] Government of India Central Board of Excise Customs New Delhi Subject : Central Excise - D-3 Declaration - Arrangements to receive and cause verification thereof on holiday(s) - Regarding Reference Board's Telex instructions No. 204/14/89-CX.6, dated 24-11-1989 wherein Board had directed that Collectors may make arrangements to receive D-3 intimations and verify the same even on holidays to ensure that no difficulties are caused to Trade in this regard. 2. In furtherence of the above instructions, Board has further directed that assessees who want to receive materials on holidays may be requested to inform the Range Officer or the Divisional Officer on or before working day immediate preceding holiday(s) about the receipt of materials under Rules 51A, 56A, 96D, 97B, 173H, 173K, 173L, 173M and 173N of Central Excise Rules, 1944. On the basis of information so received, necessary arrangements may be made by Assistant Collector/Range Officer to verify the materials/components parts on holidays. 3. Field formation and trade should be suitably informed. 4. This disposes of the Collector of Central Excise, Cochin's D.O.C.IV/16/117/ 89-CX.1, dated 4-12-1989.
