It has been observed that there is delay in processing of documents for want of attested CE Certificate in case of old and used goods after first check examination. 2. CBIC s e-sanchit application is successfully in operation since 01.04.2018. Aimed at further reducing physical interface between customs/regulatory agencies and the trade and to increase the speed of clearance in both imports and exports, this application provides a facility to upload documents at all ICES locations across India. 3. In this regard, it has been decided to direct all stakeholders and docks examination officers to upload all the supporting documents and attested Chartered Engineer certificate on E-sanchit with image reference number (IRN) before writing examination report and forwarding the bill of entry for assessment to FAG as a trade facilitation measure. This would bring greater transparency, visibility in action taken, along with degree of certainty, thus reducing dwell time. 4. All Trade association/member of customs broker association are requested to take note and publicize the contents of this Public Notice among their member/constituents. 5. This Public Notice should be considered as standing order for the purpose of Officers/ staff of Customs (Prev.) Jamnagar Commissionerate. 6. Difficulties, if any, faced by the Trade/Importer/CHA in implementation of the above may be brought to notice of the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Prev.) Jamnagar.
