Kind attention of the Exporters/Importers/Customs House Agents/Customs Brokers/ Members of Trade is invited to Notification no 03/2023 dated 04.05.2023 issued by the Principal Commissioner of Custom, Airport and Air Cargo Complex, Bangalore wherein appointment of new Custodianship of Cargo Terminal at Air Cargo Complex, Bengaluru has been notified. 2. The Custodianship of Air Cargo Complex, Bengaluru is being changed from the present M/s. Menzies Aviation Bobba and Air India SATS to M/s Bangalore International Airport Limited with effect from 24th May, 2023. From 00.01 Hrs of 24th May, 2023, the Cargo Terminal-1 will be operated by M/s. Menzies Aviation (Bengaluru) Private Limited (MABPL) and the Cargo Terminal -2 will be operated by M/s.WFS (Bengaluru) Private Limited (WFSBPL). The two Customs Cargo Service Providers (CCSP) shall carry O M functions of the new custodian M/s. Bangalore International Airport Limited. 3. In this regard, the incoming custodian M/s. Bangalore International Airport Limited has informed that the IT systems of the two Customs Cargo Service Providers (CCSPs) shall not be operational for a short period during the transition to enable transfer of data from the current operators to the incoming CCSPs. The cutover plan in respect both Cargo Terminals is as under: (i) In respect of M/s. Menzies Aviation (Bengaluru) Private Limited, the transition process shall start at 23.59 hrs on 23rd May 2023 and the Cargo IT System will remain unavailable upto 02.00 hrs on 24th May 2023 (ii) In respect of WFS (Bengaluru) Private Limited (WFSBPL), the transition process shall start at 23.59 hrs on 23rd May 2023 and the Cargo IT system will remain unavailable upto 06.00 hrs on 24th May 2023 4. In view of the above transition and IT system shut down ,the process of data transfer between ICEGATE and Cargo Operator IT System will be affected during the aforesaid downtime. Therefore, all stakeholders are advised to plan their clearances taking due note of the above. It is advised that all import and export shipments, particularly perishable shipments, live animals, life saving drugs and other critical shipments intended for import/export during the downtime are registered in Shed before 8 pm on 23rd May, 2023 so that the import/export clearance is complete before the downtime. 5. All the trade associations/ chambers of Commerce/ members of Regional Advisory Committees and Customs House Agents Association are requested to publicize the contents of this Public Notice among their members/constituents. 6.
