Public Notice No 34/ 2023 dated 22.07.2023 regarding list of defaulters in respect of non-realization of export proceeds where Demand cum Show Cause Notices have been issued by the competent authority - Customs - Public Notice No. 42/ 2023Extract OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS (EXPORT) AIR CARGO COMPLEX, SAHAR, ANDHERI (E), MUMBAI -099 Email ID : [email protected] F.No. 5/6-Misc-247/23-24 /Acc(x) shed Date: 28.08.2023 Public Notice No. 42/ 2023 Kind attention is invited to the Public Notice No 34/ 2023 dated 22.07.2023 regarding list of defaulters in respect of non-realization of export proceeds where Demand cum Show Cause Notices have been issued by the competent authority demanding ineligible drawback availed along with applicable interest and penalty and allocated to the different Adjudicating Authorities for Adjudication. 2. Adjudication proceedings have been initiated in all these cases as per Annexure B of the above PN 34/2023 dated 22.07.2023. Accordingly, Personal Hearing is scheduled for all cases mentioned in Annexure B on 05.09.2023 or 08.09.2023 or 11.09.2023 (time between 11.00 A.M. to 08.00 P.M.) before the Adjudicating Authority i.e. Shri. Abhishek Jain, Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Export Shed, Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, Mumbai Zone-lll. Individual letters intimating the schedule of Personal Hearing has also been sent. 3. Noticees are requested to submit reply and present themselves before the Adjudicating Authority either physically or virtually for the Personal Hearing on the appointed date. Further you also have the option to appear in person or through your authorized representative or you may attend the said P.H. on virtual mode through video conferencing. It is requested to intimate, whether you desire to be heard in person or through video conferencing. If yes, please forward the valid ID proof of the person appearing in the Virtual Hearing and his/her mobile number at least three working days prior to the date of hearing. The details of video conferencing shall be shared to you well in advance. You are requested to send the details of your email so that the link for video conferencing can be sent to you. 4. In case the personal hearing is not required, a letter conveying non requirement of personal hearing may be forwarded to the undersigned immediately through speed post or email at [email protected]. If no representation is received on or before the said date of personal hearing, the case will be decided ex-parte on the basis of available records/evidences.
