No. 215/6/86] Government of India Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) New Delhi Subject : Delegation of power of Collector under Rule 57F(1)(ii) The question of Delegation of powers under Rule 57F(i)(ii) has been considered by the Board. It has been decided to delegate the powers of Collectors under the aforesaid rule to Range Superintendents with immediate effect. Necessary notification in the matter may be issued. 2. It may be ensured that requests of the trade for permission under the aforesaid rule are promptly attended to and there should be no case for any delay in disposal of such requests.
