DEPB applications received after expiry of the prescribed date as per paragraph 7.42 - DGFT - 34/97-98

Policy Circular No. 34/97-98 DT 21/1/1998 Subject:- DEPB applications received after expiry of the prescribed date as per paragraph 7.42 A number of representations have been received where the exporters have filed applications for post export DEPB after the stipulated time limit as given in paragraph 7.42 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol. 1 ) Which have been rejected by the licensing authority. In this connection, it is clarified that the provisions as contained in paragraph 15.16 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1) Regarding admission of claim after applying late cut, shall be applicable for DEPB on post export basis.
