Form DVAT-51 should be read as 'made during the quarter' and the last column of the fields 11 to 16 i.e. 'Amount of Value Added (Rs.)' should be read as 'Amount (Rs.)'. - VAT - Delhi - 052Extract GOVERNMENT OF NATIONAL CAPITAL TERRITORY OF DELHI DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND TAXES (POLICY-II BRANCH) BIKRI KAR BHAWAN, I.P. ESTATE, NEW DELHI-110 002 Dated : 30.3.2006 CIRCULAR NO. 52 OF 2005-06 The provisions of rule 67 of the Delhi Value Added Tax Rules, 2005 and the relevant form i.e. Form DVAT-51 have been recently amended by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi vide notification no. F.3(77)/Fin.(T E)/2005-06/1528 kha dated 17/03/06 to bring the same in conformity to the provisions of the Central Sales Tax (Registration Turnover) Rules, 1957 as amended vide notification no. GSR 588E dated 16th September, 2005 issued by the Central Govt. which provides for submission of declaration forms in support of inter-state transactions on quarterly basis instead of annual submission. However some inadvertent mistakes have been observed in the newly notified DVAT-51 Form which are causing confusion amongst all concerned and it is felt that for the purpose of administration of the amended provisions the same is to be clarified beyond any doubt. It is thus hereby clarified that the words 'made during the year' in field no. 3 of the Form DVAT-51 should be read as 'made during the quarter' and the last column of the fields 11 to 16 i.e. 'Amount of Value Added (Rs.)' should be read as 'Amount (Rs.)'.
