ESTATE, NEW DELHI-110 002 No.F.6(70)/P-I/VAT/2010/1360-1370 Dated: 22.06.2010 CIRCULAR NO. 5 OF 2010-11 Subject : Filing of Return for the month of May 2010 The Govt. of NCT of Delhi has made amendments in Section 9(1), 9(2)(g), 10(5) and DVAT-16 i.e. Return. The Govt. is actively considering the implications of these amendments. Till a decision is taken in the matter, it has been decided in consultation with Finance Department that Returns for the month of May 2010 may be allowed to be taken without taking the effect of above amendments. 2. In view of the above, the dealers are directed to file their returns for the above month without taking into consideration the calculation of the ITC to be carried forward on closing stock and Annexure-2 A and 2 B may not be filed with the returns and the hardcopy of the 2 A and 2 B may be filed at the later stage with the revised returns, if effect of above amendments is allowed to be given. 3.
