Regarding monitoring of revenue collection - VAT - Delhi - 13 OF 2010-11

ESTATE, NEW DELHI-110 002 No.F.6 (83)/P-I/VAT/2010/1747-55 Dated: 25.11.2010 CIRCULAR NO. 13 OF 2010-11 Subject: Regarding monitoring of revenue collection During the weekly review meeting held on 22.11.2010, it was noticed that the revenue collection growth was around 23%. The revenue collection growth in the first and second quarter remained above 25%. Considering the low growth in the month of October and November, it was decided that all Zonal Addl. Commissioners and Zonal Joint Commissioners shall issue necessary directions to the Ward VATOs to monitor all monthly filers and quarterly filers with the direction that all due tax should be got deposited well before 30th of the instant month so that no spill over of the tax takes place. The due tax for this month can be got deposited in the instant month itself. Strict compliance for the above direction is solicited from all the concerned.
