Pay-in-slips translated accurately in the regional languages of the Districts in their charges. - Income Tax - 170/CBDT

INSTRUCTION NO 170/CBDT, Dated: May 12, 1970 Reference is invited to Board's circular No.3 dated 11th February, 1969 (F.No.16/5/69-ITCC) on the above subject. Some suggestions were received from the CsIT for effecting improvements in the scheme of accepting crossed cheques at the pay-in-counters of the I.T. Offices. After careful examination of these suggestions the Board has decided that the pay-in-slips(Form-A) which are at present printed in English should also be printed in the regional language of the district. The CsIT, therefore take steps to get these pay-in-slips translated accurately in the regional languages of the Districts in their charges.
