How a person can claim refund of excess amount deposited towards payment of tax on declared income?

Ans. There is no provisions to claim refund of excess tax payment made under this scheme. However, the Central Government shall notify the class of persons to whom the excess amount paid towards the tax, surcharge and penalty shall be refunded.
