What would happen if e-DRC grants waiver/reduction of penalty?

Ans. In such a case the penalty lying pending with Faceless Penalty Unit would be transferred to Jurisdictional Assessing Officer. After transfer of penalty proceedings, the Jurisdictional Assessing Officer will pass an appropriate order giving effect to e-DRC order granting waiver/reduction of penalty.
