Step - Definition / Legal Terminology - Income Tax

As per section 102(9) of the Income tax Act 1961. For the purpose of Chapter X-A(General anti-avoidance rule) , unless the context otherwise requires,- step includes- a measure or an action, particularly one of a series taken in order to deal with or achieve a particular thing or object in the arrangement;
