Explanation(la) -In section 144B of the Income tax Act 1961 , unless the context otherwise requires- Electronic Verification Code means- a code generated for the purpose of electronic verification as per the data structure and standards specified by the Principal Director General or Director General, as the case may be, in charge of information technology;
