Tonnage Income - Definition / Legal Terminology - Income Tax

For the purpose of section 115V(j) of the Income tax Act 1961, In Chapter XII-G ( Special Provisions Relating to Income of Shipping Companies) , unless the context otherwise requires,- Tonnage Income means- the income of a tonnage tax company computed in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter;
