Explanation 2(a) .- For the purposes of section 2(14)(b) of the Income-tax Act, 1961 - , Foreign Institutional Investor shall have the meaning assigned to it in clause (a) of the Explanation to section 115AD ; Explanation.(a) -For the purposes of section 115AD of the Income-tax Act, 1961 - , - Foreign Institutional Investor means such investor as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify in this behalf;
