Special Economic Zone(SEZ) - Definition / Legal Terminology - Income Tax

Explanation 2(viii) - For the purposes of section 10A of the Income tax Act 1961 , Special Economic Zone means- a zone which the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify as a special economic zone for the purposes of this section .
