MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 5 th October, 2006 S.O. 1704(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 8 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), the Central Government hereby makes following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department of Commerce), number S.O. 195(E) dated the 10 th February, 2006, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, sub-section (ii) dated 10th February, 2006, namely In the said notification, in the entry against serial number 1, for the words "Special Secretary to the Government of India", the words "Secretary, Department of Commerce, Government of India" shall be substituted.
