Set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Kalwara & Newta village, Tehsil- Sanganer, District Jaipur in the state of Rajasthan - S.O. 2144 (E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, dated 9 th July 2013 S.O. 2144 (E) - Whereas, M/s. Mahindra World City (Jaipur). a private company, had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Kalwara Newta village, Tehsil- Sanganer, District Jaipur in the state of Rajasthan ; And, Whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006, had notified the areas of 76.1 0 hectares and 78.92 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification numbers S.O. 546(E) dated 10 th April, 2007 and S.O 741(E) dated 27 th March, 2008 respectively; And, Whereas, M/s. Mahindra World City (Jaipur), has now proposed to include an area of 1.436 hectares to the above Special Economic Zone; Now, Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (I) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 . the Central Government hereby notifies an area of 1.436 hectares as part of the above Special Economic Zone, thereby making total area of the Special Economic Zone as 156.456 hectares, comprising the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely :- TABLE FOR ADDITIONAL AREA S.
