To set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at village Silokhera, Tehsil and District Gurgaon in the State of Haryana. - S.O. 395(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 19 March, 2007 S.O. 395(E) - Whereas M/s. DLF Limited had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , hereinafter referred to as the Act, to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at village Silokhera, Tehsil and District Gurgaon in the State of Haryana; And whereas the Central Government, after the grant of the letter of approval under Sub-section (10) of Section 3 of the said Act on 19th June, 2006, for the development and the operation of the said sector Specific Economic Zone, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Act and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , had notified the total area of 12.06 hectares at village Silokhera, Tehsil and District Gurgaon in the State of Haryana as Special Economic Zone in the notification of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, number S.O.2070(E), dated 6th December, 2006; And whereas M/s. DLF Limited has proposed an additional area of 2.91 hectares to be included in the said notified area of 12.06 hectares as a part of that Special Economic Zone; And whereas the said proposal for increasing the area of that Special Economic Zone from 12.06 hectares of land to 14.97 hectares has been approved by the Board of Approval on 2nd February, 2007; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to Sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Act and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 2.91 hectares at village Silokhera, Tehsil and District Gurgaon in the State of Haryana, comprising of the Survey numbers and the area given in the Table below, to be included as a part of that Special Economic Zone, namely:- Table Sl.
