Seeks to amend notification No.12/2012-Cus dated 17.3.2012 - 28/2014 - Customs -Tariff

[TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i)] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) NOTIFICATION NO. 28/2014-Customs New Delhi, the 18 th September, 2014 G.S.R. 675 (E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 12/2012-Customs, dated the 17 th March, 2012, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 185(E), dated the 17 th March, 2012 , namely:- In the said notification,- (i) in the Table, against serial number 282, in column (3), in item (y), for the figures 500 , the figures 1000 shall be substituted; (ii) after the Table, in the proviso, in clause (bc), for the words and figures first day of January,2015 , the figures, letters and words 1 st day of April, 2015 shall be substituted.
