Seeks to further amend Notification No.39/96-Customs dated 23.7.1996. - 42/2015 - Customs -Tariff

[TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i)] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) Notification No. 42/2015-Customs New Delhi, the 30th July, 2015 G.S.R. 599 - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 39/96-Customs, dated the 23rd July, 1996, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 291(E), dated the 23rd July, 1996, namely:- In the said notification, in the TABLE, against S.No.10A, in column (3), in the Explanation, in item (ii), for the words functional Director the words functional Director or the Chief Executive Officer, as the case may be, shall be substituted.
