Appointment of Superintendents of Central Excise, Class I, Bombay, Calcutta and Madras - 79 - Customs -Tariff

Notification No. 79 Dated 22/08/1970 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962, (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby appoints the Superintendents of Central Excise, Class I, posted at Bombay, Calcutta and Madras to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of *[Assistant Commissioners of Customs or Deputy Commissioners of Customs], within the jurisdiction of the *[Commissioner of Customs], Bombay, Calcutta and Madras respectively. ------------------------------- * Designation changed vide s.50 of the Finance Act, 1995 (22 of 1995) and by Notification No. 29/99-Cus.
