Container Freight Station at Adalaj specified Customs Area - 3/90 - Customs -Tariff

Notification No. 3/90 Dated 05/10/1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (a) of section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), I, A.S. SIDHU, 1 [Commissioner of Customs] (Preventive), Ahmedabad hereby specify the entire area of Container Freight Station located at CWC Complex, Adalaj, Ahmedabad as Customs Area for the storage of containers and goods contained therein imported through the Inland Container Depot at Sabarmati and for stuffing of export cargo and destuffing of import cargo exported/imported through Inland Container Depot, Sabarmati, Ahmedabad. 2. Provided that the said premises shall remain in complete control of CWC and that sealing of container and stuffing/destuffing of export/import cargo is done under the Customs supervision. 3. In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (b) of section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 , I hereby specify the limits of the Customs Area located at CWC complex, Adalaj, Ahmedabad as under : - NORTH SIDE : Boundary Wall starting from CWC Canteen Block to the end of CWC Godown No. 4 WESTERN SIDE : Boundary Wall starting from CWC Godown No. 4 to the end of open floor area SOUTHERN SIDE : Complete boundary wall starting from open floor area and up to the Watchman Cabin EASTERN SIDE : Boundary Wall starting from main gate (Entrance) towards canteen and Watchman Cabin -------------------------------------- 1 Designation changed vide s. 50 of the Finance Act, 1995 (22 of 1995)
