Amendments in Notification No. S.O. 216(E) dated 30th March, 1993 - S.O. 728(E) - Income Tax

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare NOTIFICATION No. 9381 New Delhi, the 29 th September, 1993 S.O. 728(E) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause (b) of the Explanation to, section 35AC of Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961) , the Central Government hereby amends the notification No. S.O, 216(E) dated 30 th March, 1993 as follows, namely :- For the last paragraph of the said notification beginning from the words The notification shall remain in force and concluding with the words and figures serial number 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11 and 14 the following shall be substituted, namely :- The notification shall remain in force for a period of two years in relation to assessment years 1993-94 and 1994-95 in respect; of projects mentioned at serial numbers 1, 7, 9, 12, 13 and 15; and for a period of three years in relation to assessment years 1993-94, 1994-95 and 1995-96 in respect of project mentioned at Serial Numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 11; and for a period of three years in relation to assessment years 1994-95, 1995-96 and 1996-97 in respect of projects mentioned at Serial Numbers 10 and 14.
