Seeks to replace the references to Clean Energy Cess with Clean Environment Cess - 1/2016 - Indian Law

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) Notification No. 1/2016 - Clean Environment Cess New Delhi, the 14 th May, 2016 G.S.R. 510 (E). -In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 83 and 84 of the Finance Act, 2010 (14 of 2010 ), the Central Government hereby directs that any reference to Clean Energy Cess , in the rules, notifications, instructions, decisions, or orders, made or issued under the said sections, shall, be construed as references to Clean Environment Cess .
